Our Rector

We hope that you will join us to worship here at St. Alban's, in the heart of the northeast quadrant of Indianapolis.  St. Alban's is a growing, friendly, diverse and integrated parish with a thriving and growing music program using a variety of sources, worship that changes seasonally, and people who strive to live out the Gospel in their daily lives.

The heart of our community of faith is Sunday worship, which will vary at least every six weeks, using Eucharistic prayers from a variety of sources from throughout the Anglican Communion and

music from many different sources and styles.  We are a progressive and liberal parish and our parishioners include a mix of people from all over the world; young and old; Black, Latino and White; straight and gay; single and partnered.

Youth and adults are invited to learning opportunities at 9:15 AM on Sunday Mornings, and Children's Sunday School begins at 10:30 AM.  Children join their families for Communion.

St. Albanites are involved locally and beyond the parish in a variety of outreach efforts.  We helped to found a foodbank which was once housed  in our parish.  Our parishioners volunteer as tutors at the local elementary school and for the Listening Post at Arlington High School.  In addition, our building is used by summer program and several twelve step programs, and we sponsor a Little League group that uses the three softball fields on our property.  Throughout the year our parishioners are involved in various outreach programs on local, state and national levels.

Come and journey with this community of joyful pilgrims, committed to the forward mission of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  If I can assist you on your spiritual journey please let me know.

Peace,

Walter+
